The Challenge
Puerto Rico, with its endless stretches of pristine beaches, expanses of majestic mountains, and superb dining, is a popular vacation spot for travelers looking to unwind and relax. But at the local airport, the experience is anything but relaxing. The four level parking garage and surface parking lot are often at or close to capacity, causing drivers to spend inordinate amounts of time circling the structure in search of a parking spot.
The airport wanted to improve the efficiency of their parking lots and reduce the constant traffic of vehicles circling to find parking. But they had a limited budget that was insufficient to fund a traditional parking counting system.
The Solution
After researching a variety of parking counting platforms, the local airport discovered OpenSpace from Parking Logix.
