Level Counting Systems
We’ve all been there before – driving up through level after level in search of that coveted parking spot, only to find that even the top floor is completely full. For decades, level counting systems have provided outstanding value to parkers and lot owners by displaying space availability in multi-level garages across the world. As the number of levels in a facility increases, so does the value of level counting as drivers are saved the wasted time and stress of navigating levels that simply don’t have space.
Obstacles to Implementation
If parking level counters provide so much value, why aren’t they more popular? Most level counting platforms require copious amounts of cabling and infrastructure, as each entry and exit point between levels or ramps needs to be hardwired to an individual module, and then connected to a central control boxes or central PC. In some cases, a duplication of conduit may then be required 
all the way back to other signs across facility levels or outside the property. Installing a typical level counting system represents a colossal investment in time, planning and financial resources.
